An excellent and rewarding opportunity has recently arisen for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to become an integral part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization within the thriving property sector. This position offers a genuine business partnering role, providing the successful candidate with the chance to work closely with key stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making processes within a company experiencing impressive year-on-year growth and development.

The Management Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the finance team by assisting with a wide range of financial and management accounting responsibilities. These include preparing accurate financial reports, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and delivering timely insights to guide the business on a national level. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, streamlining reporting processes, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to help drive sustainable growth.


Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
  
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, analysis and reports
  • Ensure monthly management reports are accurately produced and issued on time
  • Assist with the control and use of financial systems, procedures and identify any areas for system improvement
  • Assist with the development, management and control of the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Provide business financial partnering to the various projects/sites across the country
  • Assist with the provision of information to both internal and external auditors
  • Provide credit control support to the business to improve operational cash flow

Skills & Experience Required of the Management Accountant:

  
  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with ideally 3 Years relevant experience
  • Experience managing junior staff advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in the Property, Infrastructure or Financial Services sector preferable
  • Commercially aware individual with ability to hold individuals to account
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to confidently work with senior management
  • Excellent systems skills and ideally some experience using a large ERP system
  • Strong financial planning and analysis skills
