We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation in Sydney. This role suits someone who thrives in a structured finance environment and genuinely enjoys improving processes, tightening controls, and working with complex data.

About the Role

You’ll support core finance operations across month‑end, reconciliations, reporting and analysis, while contributing to ongoing efficiency initiatives across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting month‑end close to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Preparing month‑end and daily reconciliations
• Assisting with daily checks and end‑of‑day closing
• Preparing working files for regulatory and internal reporting
• Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances and improvement opportunities
• Maintaining and updating financial databases and spreadsheets
• Assisting with accounts payable, including invoice processing and vendor reconciliations
• Actively identifying and driving process improvements
• Participating in efficiency reviews, UAT and ad‑hoc projects
• Supporting budgeting and preparing information for internal and external audit

What You Bring

• 2+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills
• Proficiency in Excel and solid understanding of accounting principles
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CA, CPA or CFA advantageous)
