About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fund Accountant to join a leading property investment and funds management firm. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to advance their career in the property funds sector. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, managing fund operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for property funds.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and perform reconciliations.
• Process distributions, capital calls, and investor reporting.
• Assist with tax compliance, including GST, BAS, and income tax returns.
• Liaise with auditors, external stakeholders, and fund managers.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Support process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards certification.
• 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in property funds or real estate investment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/AASB) and tax regulations.
• Experience with fund administration systems and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
