Manager – Wealth & Business Advisory | No Timesheets | People‑First Firm

I’m recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded accounting and advisory firm known for delivering tailored solutions to clients across a wide range of industries. In this leadership role, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio and play a key part in shaping client outcomes. Your work will span compliance, advisory and relationship management, with the autonomy to deliver high‑quality service without the pressure of timesheets.
You will:

• Manage a portfolio of SMEs, partnerships, trusts and high‑net‑worth clients
• Review and prepare financial statements, tax returns and compliance documentation
• Deliver practical advisory services including budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management
• Provide proactive tax planning strategies to optimise client outcomes
• Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth
• Build strong, long‑term client relationships grounded in trust and commercial insight

About You You’ll bring a blend of technical capability, commercial thinking and genuine client care.

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• 4–6+ years’ experience in business services or public practice
• Tax licence preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑first mindset
• Ability to manage competing priorities with confidence
• Experience with Xero, MYOB or APS
