The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an experienced Accountant ready to step into a more senior, review‑focused position, or a current Senior Accountant seeking exposure to more complex structures and a broader advisory remit. You will play a key role in overseeing the quality of tax work, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring clients receive proactive, accurate and commercially grounded advice. As part of a large, well‑resourced organisation, you’ll benefit from structured development, clear progression pathways and access to specialist teams across wealth, investments and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client meetings and provide strategic, forward‑looking tax and structuring advice
  • Review financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
  • Review and sign off income tax returns across all entity types
  • Oversee the preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
  • Act as a trusted adviser, strengthening long‑term client relationships and supporting broader wealth‑management objectives
  • Manage a defined client portfolio, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant delivery
  • Provide technical guidance to junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement across processes, controls and client experience
About You
  • 4+ years’ experience in public practice or a wealth‑management accounting division
  • Registered Tax Agent (or eligible for registration)
  • CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with sophisticated clients
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing company, trust and individual tax returns
  • Proficient with HandiSoft, MYOB, Xero or similar platforms
  • Comfortable working autonomously within a high‑standards, client‑centric environment
