About the Role

As the Senior Tax Accountant, you will manage a diverse portfolio of SMEs, family groups, trusts, companies, and high‑net‑worth individuals. You’ll work closely with the Directors and support junior staff, bringing both technical depth and commercial insight.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT and CGT calculations
  • Providing proactive tax planning and structuring advice
  • Managing client relationships with confidence, clarity, and care
  • Reviewing work of intermediate accountants and supporting their development
  • Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes
  • Working closely with the leadership team on complex matters and advisory projects

About You

  • 7+ years’ experience in Business Services and Tax within public practice
  • Strong technical capability across compliance, tax advisory, and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex concepts clearly

  • CA/CPA qualification (or near completion)
  • A collaborative, grounded approach — no egos, just good people doing great work
